Filmmaker Partho Ghosh has passed away at 75, succumbing to heart ailments. He was a key figure in Indian cinema. Ghosh was known for directing hit films such as ‘100 Days’, ‘Teesra Kaun’, and ‘Agni Sakshi’. He began his career as an assistant director and achieved success with ‘100 Days’ in 1991. He followed this up with the successful film ‘Dalaal’ in 1993. Ghosh directed over 15 films during his career. His final directorial project was ‘Mausam Ikrar Ke Do Pal Pyar Ke’ in 2018. He is survived by his wife, Gouri.
