
The entertainment industry is reeling from the sudden death of Shefali Jariwala, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at 42. The cause of her death is currently unknown, creating immense grief among her fans and family. Her husband, Parag Tyagi, was seen visibly upset outside the hospital.
Shefali frequently expressed her love for Parag, and spoke about their first meeting. In an interview with Times Now, she shared that their meeting was arranged, and they connected immediately. She felt they were very similar, yet complemented each other in many ways.
Before her relationship with Parag, Shefali was married to Harmeet Singh. Their marriage lasted from 2004 to 2009. She spoke about the emotional hardships of her previous marriage, stressing the importance of understanding when one isn’t appreciated. She highlighted that mental and emotional abuse can be a form of violence and can lead to unhappiness.
Authorities in Mumbai have stated that the cause of death is still under investigation. The Mumbai Police confirmed that her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem. “The cause of death is not yet clear,” they stated.
Shefali Jariwala achieved widespread recognition after her appearance in the music video ‘Kaanta Laga.’ She went on to participate in several reality shows including Boogie Woogie, Nach Baliye 5, Nach Baliye 7, and Bigg Boss 13. She also starred in the web series ‘Baby Come Naa’.
