Shahid Kapoor is moving forward with ‘Cocktail 2,’ following his work on ‘Deva’ and his collaboration with Vishal Bhardwaj, the latter currently titled ‘Romeo’. The film ‘Romeo’ is expected to clash with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandar’ in December. Kapoor shared images on Instagram to announce his new project ‘Cocktail 2,’ with the new film featuring Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. Mandanna’s recent performance in ‘Pushpa 2’ earned over 1800 crore. The film promises a mix of romance, comedy, and drama. Filming is anticipated to finish by January 2026, with locations in India and Europe. Kapoor has the project ‘Arjun Ustran’ in development, and Sanon is working on ‘Tere Ishq Mein,’ while Mandanna is involved with ‘Thama.’ The original ‘Cocktail’ garnered 121 crore worldwide on a budget of 45 crore.
