
The Pushpa franchise celebrated a successful night at the SIIMA Awards in Dubai, where Pushpa 2: The Rule was awarded five major honors. The event was attended by director Sukumar, lead actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, music composer Devi Sri Prasad, and producer Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers. Following the awards, Sukumar responded to a question about Pushpa 3, confirming its production. The audience and hosts reacted enthusiastically to the announcement. Allu Arjun received the Best Actor award, Rashmika Mandanna won Best Actress, Sukumar was recognized as Best Director, Devi Sri Prasad earned Best Music Composer, and Shankar Babu Kandukuri was awarded Best Playback Singer (Male). The Pushpa series has reached international acclaim. Pushpa: The Rise (2021) earned Rs 350 crore globally, and Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024) broke records with ₹1871 crore, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of the year and the second-highest overall. The Pushpa saga focuses on Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj. The story arc of Pushpa 2 culminates in a cliffhanger, hinting at the next part. Sukumar is currently collaborating with Ram Charan, while Allu Arjun is busy with a science-fiction film featuring Atlee and Deepika Padukone, leading fans to speculate on the start of Pushpa 3. Allu Arjun previously expressed his desire to work on other projects before returning to Pushpa. There is speculation among fans about the inclusion of unused footage from the promotional video ‘Where is Pushpa’ in Pushpa 3.
