The controversy surrounding Aamir Khan and his family has escalated with the entry of Somy Ali, known for her past relationship with Salman Khan. Faisal Khan, Aamir Khan’s brother, has publicly distanced himself from the family and leveled serious accusations. Ali’s expression of support for Faisal has triggered negative reactions on social media. She addressed the criticism and trolling she received.
Ali explained that her support for Faisal Khan has resulted in significant criticism. She emphasized that the fact someone may have spoken negatively about you doesn’t necessitate abandonment during challenging circumstances.
Ali elaborated, stating, “It has nothing to do with what he said about me, but what do I react to if he is going through a difficult time, it’s my choice, not anyone else’s. I will support him or anyone going through a difficult time and stand by them.” She further clarified that she does not have an in-depth understanding of Aamir to offer any specific comments about him. She added, “We did a photoshoot and we were both very professional. Apart from talking to each other, we didn’t say a word, just did the photoshoot and left.” She further indicated that although she is not entirely familiar with the intricacies of the situation, she believes Faisal is of sound mind, based on his interview, given her educational background in psychology. She said, “I worked with patients suffering from schizophrenia in a psychiatric hospital during my internship and I would give them the same medication they gave Faisal. If a person does not have schizophrenia, there are serious consequences. Unless someone has physically harmed me and they are in trouble, and I know they are right, I will speak for them. That is my personality and my upbringing. So calm down and stop accusing me of being a hypocrite. People get hurt and say what I did, but now he is in trouble, and if that happens I will support any of you, Faisal too.”
