The South Indian film industry is in mourning following the untimely death of Kannada actor Santhosh Balaraj. The actor, who was only 34 years old, passed away after battling jaundice. Santhosh was the son of the prominent producer Anekal Balaraj. He began his film journey with the Kannada film ‘Kempa’ in 2009. Throughout his career, he delivered notable performances in movies such as ‘Olaviina Ole’, ‘Janma’, ‘Ganapa’, ‘Kariya 2’, and ‘Satyam’. He was admitted to Sagar Apollo Hospital in Bangalore for treatment. His father’s passing occurred in a road accident in May 2025. Santhosh was unmarried and lived with his mother. The news of his death has saddened fans.
