
Suniel Shetty, a veteran actor with a career spanning 33 years, is known for his roles in numerous Bollywood films. While his acting prowess is well-documented, a particular incident highlights his playful side. This involved a prank that took an unexpected turn, resulting in an encounter with law enforcement.
Shetty, known for his composed public image, once orchestrated a prank that involved distributing counterfeit movie tickets. The actor’s childhood friend’s father printed movie tickets. Shetty conceived the idea of using fake tickets for a practical joke.
On April 1st, the fake tickets were distributed among unsuspecting individuals. Unaware of the deception, they went to the cinema. When they attempted to enter the theatre, they were denied entry which led to a confrontation. The police intervened, using batons against the individuals.
Shetty began his Bollywood journey with the film ‘Balwaan’ in 1992. He has worked in several popular films. His recent work includes the web series ‘Hunter’.
