He discusses his selection for the role of a gigolo in ‘Rangeen,’ which came about through an audition, where he found the narrative unique and the character portrayal sensitively handled. He admits to initial nervousness but prepared by researching the profession. For him, the opportunity to work on ‘Waking of a Nation’ came as a blessing, having shot ‘Rangeen’ prior to it. Raina believes it is the responsibility of actors to delve into different character roles, focusing on ownership and enjoyment. He sees himself as fortunate to have received opportunities in this challenging field. He desires to play diverse characters, expressing his goal of broadening his acting range.
