‘Mirai’, a new action-adventure film, has captured audience attention. Teja Sajja stars in the film, following his previous success in ‘HanuMan’. Despite several competing movies releasing this week, ‘Mirai’ has performed well at the box office.
On its first day, ‘Mirai’ collected approximately Rs 12 crore, according to early estimates. The opening figures demonstrate a promising start, despite facing stiff competition.
A sequel, ‘Mirai: Jaithraya’, is planned, and the film’s mid-credits scene features Rana Daggubati as a villain. This suggests he will be a key antagonist in the next film, with hints of a character with special abilities.
The narrative revolves around a warrior entrusted with protecting nine holy texts, capable of granting immortality.
Teja Sajja recounted the process of getting cast in ‘Mirai’, explaining how director Karthik Ghattamaneni approached him post-‘HanuMan’. Ghattamaneni described the difficulties of the project to gauge Sajja’s commitment. Sajja’s response assured the director of his dedication.
Along with Teja Sajja, the movie stars Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran, with Manchu Manoj playing the role of the main antagonist.
