The latest TRP report from BARC India for week 35 reveals a significant transformation in the television landscape. There’s been a drop in the ratings for most TV serials, with no reality show making it to the top 10 list. Despite this, the popularity of reality shows remains strong. ‘Bigg Boss’ continues to be a frontrunner. While it didn’t make it into the overall top 10, ‘Bigg Boss’ has topped the reality show rankings, with a rating of 1.2, providing strong competition to other shows. The show’s initial broadcast on Jio Hotstar, followed by a delayed television release, hasn’t hindered its success. Another Colors TV show, ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’, also performed well, garnering a rating of 1.2. ‘Super Dancer’ secured third place with a rating of 0.9. ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) experienced a decline, with the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show securing the fourth position with a rating of 0.7. ‘Chhoriyan Chali Gaon’ from Zee TV took the fifth spot with 0.6. The festive period of Ganesh Chaturthi influenced the ratings. Dramas and daily soaps gained prominence, whereas reality shows saw a slight dip, with ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ showcasing consistent popularity.
