Vicky Kaushal’s film, ‘Mahavtar’, has encountered a major hurdle, causing its release to be postponed. The movie, which was highly anticipated, was set to mark Kaushal’s return with a significant project. Although preparations were underway, the film faced a setback, potentially due to the presence of Ranbir Kapoor’s film. The first look of the film had been released with plans to release it in 2026. However, ‘Love and War’ is scheduled for release in early 2026. It seems the makers have decided to postpone the release. The film was initially slated to release in December 2026 but the date is now open to other films. Shooting for ‘Mahavtar’ was expected to commence by the end of this year, however, this is unlikely to happen. The filming is now slated to start in April of next year, making a December release difficult. This is leading to a shift to 2027. Another key factor contributing to the delay is the work on ‘Love and War,’ in which Vicky Kaushal also stars. Extensive training is needed for Kaushal’s role as Lord Parshuram, which involves a muscular physique. This requires intensive physical training. The film’s post-production, involving CGI and visual effects, will require additional time.
