Her Debut on her Mother’s Favorite Show: Vidya always dreamed of becoming an actress. While her father wanted her to prioritize her education, her mother was initially against her acting ambitions. However, when Vidya was offered the show ‘Hum Paanch,’ her mother approved because she loved the show. Vidya worked on the show for approximately a year and a half.
At the young age of 19, Vidya portrayed the mother of an 8-year-old in a detergent powder advertisement. Initially, she was hesitant about the role because of her age but later agreed.
