Manish Malhotra’s directorial venture ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ presents its third musical piece, ‘Shehar Tere,’ a song that masterfully conveys the universal theme of pining for one’s beloved. Under the banner of Stage5 Production, co-founded by Manish Malhotra and his brother Dinesh Malhotra, ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ marks a new creative chapter for the designer. Directed by Vibhu Puri, the film is described as a “poignant love story of passion and unspoken desire,” set in the evocative historical settings of Purani Dilli and the atmospheric kothis of Punjab.
Musically, the song is a testament to the collaborative spirit, featuring the remarkable talents of Vishal Bhardwaj, Jazim Sharma, and Himani Kapoor, all interpreting the deeply resonant lyrics by Gulzar.
