Both films, among the most anticipated of the year, drew large crowds and generated substantial revenues, emerging as two of the biggest releases. While the second weekend saw strong numbers, the momentum is now slowing as the films enter the crucial weekdays.
‘War 2’ had a strong opening, collecting Rs 52 crore on Day 1. The momentum continued on Day 2 with collections rising to Rs 57.85 crore. Early estimates for Day 14 (second Wednesday) suggest around Rs 2.50 crore, taking the total box office collection to Rs 229.75 crore.
