‘War 2,’ featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani, had a strong debut. On Day 1 (Thursday), the film earned Rs 52 crore, with Hindi contributing Rs 29 crore, Telugu Rs 22.75 crore, and Tamil around Rs 0.25 crore. The momentum continued on Day 2 (Friday), as the film collected Rs 57.35 crore, marking a 10.29% growth compared to its opening day. Hindi led with Rs 44.5 crore, followed by Telugu at Rs 12.5 crore, and Tamil at Rs 0.35 crore. The collections dipped over the weekend, with Day 3 (Saturday) bringing in Rs 33.25 crore. Early estimates for Day 4 (Sunday) indicate earnings of approximately Rs 31 crore, still maintaining a strong weekend performance. The total box office collection for ‘War 2’ is approximately Rs 173.60 crore in just four days.
‘War 2,’ a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster ‘War,’ was released on August 14, 2025. The film sees Hrithik Roshan return as Agent Kabir after a six-year gap. NTR Jr. joins the franchise as Agent Vikram. Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana also star.

The plot centers on Deva, a former gold smuggler now working as a coolie. He attempts to regain his past glory by reviving his old gang, utilizing stolen technology hidden in vintage golden watches, leading to unintended consequences. The film also stars Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Rachita Ram, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Kanna Ravi, Monisha Blessy and Kaali Venkat. Aamir Khan appears in a cameo role.
