The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has confiscated properties worth ₹94.22 crore in Assam linked to a land scam involving the All India Services Officers Cooperative Group Housing Society. This action also included the filing of a charge sheet. The Guwahati Zonal Office provisionally attached eight properties belonging to Rajendra Nath on September 18, 2025. The housing society comprises IAS, IPS, and IFS officers.
The ED’s investigation was prompted by an FIR filed at the Basistha police station in Guwahati, which accused S সৌতিক Goswami, Rajendra Nath, and others of criminal conspiracy, fraud, and breach of trust.
