India is providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan following a deadly earthquake that resulted in over 1400 fatalities. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar announced that Indian earthquake assistance is reaching Kabul via air. The aid includes blankets, tents, sanitation kits, water storage tanks, generators, kitchen utensils, portable water purifiers, sleeping bags, essential medicines, wheelchairs, hand sanitizers, and necessary medications. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated India’s commitment to providing all possible humanitarian aid and relief to the affected people.
