
The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has officially released its first list of 25 candidates for the upcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. The party aims to amplify the concerns of the most disadvantaged sections of society. Notable selections include Mohammed Kaif for the Siwan constituency, Anas Salam for Gopalganj AC, Advocate Shams Aagaz for Kishanganj, Rashid Khalil Ansari for Madhubani, and Mohammad Manzoor Alam for Araria. The AIMIM Bihar unit, in conjunction with national leadership, finalized these nominations. Polling for the 243 seats in Bihar is scheduled across two phases on November 6 and November 11, with the counting of votes on November 14. The political contest is primarily between the incumbent NDA and the opposition Mahagathbandhan, led by the RJD and Congress. Additionally, Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj has fielded its own set of candidates.
