
An Air India flight, designated AI 315, was compelled to return to Hong Kong after the pilot detected a technical problem while en route to Delhi on Monday. The flight was operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
Further complicating the situation, a Saudia Airlines plane carrying approximately 250 Hajj pilgrims encountered a technical issue upon arrival at Lucknow Airport on Sunday. The landing gear malfunctioned. Airport authorities confirmed that smoke and sparks were observed from a wheel following the landing. Flight SV 3112 had departed from Jeddah at 10:45 PM on Saturday, arriving at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow around 6:30 AM on Sunday. The pilot immediately contacted Air Traffic Control (ATC). The aircraft was then moved to a taxiway, and all passengers were safely disembarked. The emergency response team extinguished the sparks within 20 minutes.
