The Amarnath Yatra is underway, with over 26,000 pilgrims visiting the holy cave shrine in the past two days. Authorities have implemented rigorous security protocols to ensure a safe pilgrimage experience. The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, highlighted the comprehensive arrangements made for the Yatris, emphasizing the importance of a smooth and secure journey. The Yatra has already seen a large number of devotees arriving in the Kashmir Valley. RFID tags are being used for pilgrim tracking. The 38-day Yatra started on July 3 and will conclude on August 9. The administration has set up 34 lodging centers across Jammu and Kashmir.
