Authorities have successfully disrupted a terror plot with a police encounter in Ludhiana, Punjab, that left two alleged Babbar Khalsa International operatives injured. The shootout occurred Tuesday near the Ladowal Toll Plaza. Information gathered from previously arrested suspects led police to believe these individuals were coordinating terror activities on behalf of Pakistan’s ISI. Reports indicate the injured terrorists were intended to collect and strategically place grenades. During the confrontation, the suspects opened fire on police, prompting a retaliatory response. Both are currently hospitalized, with one facing serious injuries. The recovered arsenal includes Chinese grenades and firearms, preventing a potential attack. Police also revealed a connection between the suspects and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, suggesting a complex network of criminal and terror activities.
