The team is investigating three locations Chinnaiah visited earlier in the year as part of his alleged planning. The rented house in Mallasandra, in the name of T Jayanth, is a central point of interest. Jayanth is said to be close to Mahesh Shetty Timmarodi from Dakshina Kannada. Chinnaiah stayed at the house in April, after which the SIT initiated an investigation. Jayanth’s family presently resides there. According to accounts, Chinnaiah brought the skull to this house initially before handing it over to the SIT. Subsequently, Chinnaiah and Jayanth went to Delhi with the intention of bringing the matter before the Supreme Court.
