As part of the ‘SIR’ and anti-vote theft campaign, Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav initiated a Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar, featuring a bike rally in Darbhanga. During the rally, a security guard took a man’s motorcycle, which was later stolen. At the journey’s culmination on September 1, Rahul Gandhi gave the man a new motorcycle. The political climate was charged during the voter rights rally. Shubham Saurabh, a hotelier from Darbhanga, reported that seven motorcycles parked on his property were taken by security personnel for a 2-kilometer rally on August 27. Following the rally, Shubham’s motorcycle disappeared. He sought assistance from party members after the theft, learning he would receive a replacement at the Patna closing ceremony. (The Congress shared a video about the incident on their YouTube channel). Shubham was instructed to be in Patna by 7 AM. He was then presented with the keys to the new motorcycle by Rahul Gandhi. The man’s original motorcycle was a Pulsar 220. He expressed his thanks, mentioning how great it felt to receive the new bike from Rahul Gandhi on stage. The Voter Adhikar Yatra began in Sasaram on August 17 and concluded in Patna on September 1. During the Patna conclusion, Rahul Gandhi addressed vote theft, stating that after deploying an ‘atom bomb’ in Mahadevpura, they were preparing to drop a ‘hydrogen bomb’.
