AIIMS Bhubaneswar has achieved a notable position in the India Today-MDRA Best Medical Colleges Survey 2025, securing the 12th rank among the leading medical colleges in India. The institute has also been ranked 2nd among the top emerging medical colleges, demonstrating its rising prominence in healthcare and education. The survey, conducted by India Today in partnership with MDRA, assessed institutions based on several factors including intake quality, academic excellence, infrastructure, personal and leadership development, and career advancement opportunities. Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, acknowledged the achievement as a result of the institute’s commitment to excellence and its role in shaping future medical leaders, as well as its focus on ensuring the best patient outcomes. A special felicitation program was hosted on campus to mark the occasion, attended by key faculty and administrative leaders. The progress made by AIIMS Bhubaneswar from a 25th rank in 2021 to its current ranking highlights the dedication and leadership of the team. This achievement aligns with the vision of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee for better tertiary healthcare.
