The Bhagalpur NH-80 is frequently plagued by traffic congestion, significantly impacting commuters. BJP MLA Pawan Kumar Yadav was observed actively involved in managing the traffic to mitigate the issue between Kahalgaon and Ghogha. A video of the event circulated online, capturing the MLA’s interaction with a local resident who inquired about his presence. Yadav stated that he was working to resolve the traffic jam. The MLA was traveling from Patna to Kahalgaon in the morning and found the local administration was already working to ease the traffic. In the viral video, the MLA also encouraged drivers to follow lane discipline. Prior to this, the MLA had experienced similar problems on NH-80 near Trimuhan. He criticized the NHAI and the contractor. The MLA had stated that the persistent traffic issues were a source of frustration. He was on his way from Kahalgaon to a NDA workers’ conference in Bhagalpur. Due to the severe jam, the MLA left his vehicle and continued on foot.
