
Pawan Singh, the ‘Power Star’ of Bhojpuri cinema, has been targeted in a robbery at his residence in Ara, Bihar. The burglars entered his house located in New Maruti Nagar by removing a window. They stole items estimated to be worth around 15 lakh rupees, including jewelry, along with 15,000 rupees in cash, and 30 bullets for a licensed rifle. Furthermore, the thieves made off with some costly electronic gadgets.
At the time of the incident, Pawan Singh’s elder brother Ranu Singh’s in-laws were present in the house. They came to know about the theft on Tuesday morning and reported it to the police. The incident took place at Pawan Singh’s private residence, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Ara Nagar police station. The criminals are believed to have entered the home late at night.
The thieves meticulously planned their entry by cutting and removing the window. They then proceeded to target the cupboards and lockers inside the house.
Police suspect that the theft was pre-planned. The burglars may have had prior knowledge of the house. Upon receiving the information, the Nagar police station reached the spot and a forensic team was also called to investigate. Police are questioning people and are looking at CCTV footage to solve the case.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the theft was carried out by a professional gang. The police in charge, Devraj Rai, confirmed that they are investigating the case and will arrest the culprits as soon as possible.
The incident has caused concern among the neighbors as they are questioning their safety.
