The Agriculture Department of Bihar, under the leadership of Principal Secretary Pankaj Kumar, conducted a state-level monthly review meeting at Krishi Bhawan, Patna. Agricultural officers from various divisions and districts participated in the meeting. The discussions encompassed crucial aspects like Kharif crop coverage, data uploading progress on the Bihan app, diesel subsidy programs, contingency crop planning, rainfall assessments, and agricultural input subsidies.
Officials were instructed to expedite the processing of all applications related to agricultural inputs. The Principal Secretary underscored that the primary goal of seed distribution is to furnish farmers with timely seed access, which directly contributes to enhanced crop production and productivity. A post-season review of the seed distribution plan will be conducted, analyzing coverage and production data.
