Authorities in Bihar are investigating a series of applications for caste certificates featuring unusual names. The latest incident involves an application in Gaya, where an applicant named ‘Bullet’ is seeking a certificate. The application lists the father’s name as ‘Fortuner’ and the mother’s name as ‘Defender.’ The application was submitted at the Dobhi zonal office. Officials have revealed that the application was filed online through the RTPS counter, which operates under the Bihar Public Services Rights Act. Following an investigation, two applications were deemed suspicious. The Zonal Officer of Dobhi has initiated a case, aiming to identify the individuals involved and those potentially attempting to disrupt the process.
