The political landscape in Bihar is heating up as the state gears up for assembly elections, with all major parties working to strengthen their organizational capabilities. In this context, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will embark on a two-day visit to Bihar, commencing on Thursday. During his tour, Shah will engage in crucial organizational meetings with party leaders and workers. His primary focus will be to devise strategies for the upcoming elections. Amit Shah will be meeting with BJP party workers from 20 districts, with key gatherings scheduled in Dehri-on-Sone and Begusarai. He will convene with BJP workers and leaders from 10 districts in the Magadh and Shahabad regions at the Lalan Singh Stadium in Dehri-on-Sone (Rohtas district). Following this, he will proceed to Begusarai for discussions with leaders and officials from another 10 districts, including Patna Rural, Patna Metro, Barh, and Nalanda. The meetings are expected to include approximately 2,000 to 2,500 party workers, including district presidents and MLAs. According to party leaders, the discussions will primarily revolve around election preparations and strategies. The BJP has segmented Bihar into five organizational regions, and Amit Shah’s visit will encompass interactions with leaders from two of these regions. The BJP is also implementing a campaign plan, including the “Seva Pakhwada” program, with ‘door-to-door contact campaigns’ scheduled between September 18 and 25 to inform people about welfare schemes. Another meeting with BJP leaders is planned for September 27, with discussions centered around seat distribution, candidate selection, and campaign collaborations with allies. The BJP has set a target of winning 225 seats, and to achieve this goal, joint worker conferences are being planned across all 243 assembly constituencies. Dilip Jaiswal, the state president of the BJP, highlighted that the central minister’s visit aims to strengthen grassroots workers and infuse them with enthusiasm before the elections. The central minister will review booth-level preparations and strategies for fortifying the party’s presence. Shah will conduct a comprehensive assessment of election strategies at the district and regional levels, engaging with MPs, MLAs, and senior leaders to gather ground-level insights and formulate a roadmap to ensure the party’s success in the Bihar assembly elections. The visit, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Purnia on September 15, is considered a significant event in the pre-election period.
