The India Bloc held a pivotal meeting led by Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday to discuss the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The meeting resulted in the alliance of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and the Lok Janshakti Party (Pashupati Paras) with the India Bloc in Bihar. Seats will be allocated to these parties within the coalition. According to Congress’s Rajesh Ram, the discussions were very positive, with a seat-sharing formula largely decided. Most seat allocations are under discussion, with a final decision imminent. New parties joining the alliance require all parties to make adjustments and sacrifices. The final seat-sharing formula is to be finalized soon. Krishna Allah Varun, the Congress in-charge, also stated that the inclusion of two new parties necessitates adjustments from all members of the alliance. The parties are committed to contesting the elections with full force.
