The NDA is aiming for a comprehensive victory in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, scheduled for October-November. The alliance is planning a unified campaign, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the forefront. Modi has already begun his Bihar engagements, with a focus on large rallies across all divisions of the state before the elections.
PM Modi has held rallies and government programs in Patna, Saran, and Darbhanga divisions. Further rallies are planned in Gaya, Begusarai, and Kosi divisions in the coming weeks. Following this, events are planned in Purnia, Bhagalpur, and Tirhut divisions before the election announcement, with a focus on inaugurating projects worth significant investment. This approach aims to connect with voters across all regions of Bihar.
Alongside these rallies, the government is conducting programs involving the inauguration of projects worth billions. The BJP is focusing on making development the key election issue and highlighting the governance issues associated with the RJD.
Joint rallies will be held in all Bihar constituencies between July 15 and September 15, featuring addresses by national and state-level NDA leaders. These rallies will follow district and block-level meetings.
The NDA’s strategy will be tailored to specific regions. The approach will avoid divisive issues, with a focus on attracting Muslim votes through the efforts of the JDU and LJP. The NDA will also focus on the issue of Ambedkar’s alleged insult by Lalu Yadav to gain the support of Dalit voters.
