The Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government has introduced multiple schemes to support its citizens. Key decisions include the ‘Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Mandap Yojana’, which focuses on constructing marriage halls in all panchayats, with a budget of ₹40 billion 26 crore 50 lakh. The government has also decided to subsidize meals in ‘Didi Ki Rasoi’ at ₹20 per plate. The social security pension for widows, senior citizens, and the disabled has been increased from ₹400 to ₹1,100 per month. Additionally, the state government will facilitate Jeevika’s business activities. Further announcements include the construction of a large number of roads.
