
LJP (R) MP Rajesh Verma, speaking at the TV9 Digital event in Purnia, stated that while Bihar has progressed under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, there is a need for accelerated development. When asked about Chirag Paswan’s potential as a CM candidate, Verma emphasized Paswan’s patience and vision, indicating that the party is not in a hurry and will contest the upcoming elections under Nitish Kumar’s leadership. Verma highlighted the CM’s role in improving Bihar’s infrastructure and mentioned the necessity of infusing fresh perspectives to boost growth. He also mentioned the importance of the NDA winning all 243 seats in the upcoming elections. He discussed the need to maintain unity within the NDA and emphasized Chirag Paswan’s qualities, including his integrity, education, and global exposure, which would appeal to the people of Bihar. Verma also criticized Tejashwi Yadav’s comments on Chirag Paswan’s personal life, urging a focus on more pertinent political issues. Discussing Prashant Kishor, Verma cautioned against overconfidence, advising against complacency in political strategies.
