
A significant recruitment drive is underway for aspiring candidates in Bihar. The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) is recruiting for 1,799 Sub-Inspector (SI) positions. The application process will be active from September 26th to October 26th. Candidates can apply online via the official website: bpssc.bihar.gov.in. The official notification was published on September 23rd, detailing the requirements and selection process. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. The age criteria for applicants is between 20 and 37 years, with age relaxations available for women, SC/ST, and OBC candidates, in accordance with government regulations. The selection procedure incorporates a preliminary examination, a main written examination, physical efficiency and standard tests, document verification, and a medical examination. The preliminary examination involves 100 questions worth a total of 200 marks, with a 2-hour time frame. Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 30% to qualify for the main examination. The main examination consists of two papers, with the first paper being General Hindi, comprising 100 questions worth 200 marks, to be completed in a 2-hour duration.
