The political landscape of Bihar is witnessing a heated debate following Union Minister Chirag Paswan’s critical remarks about the state government’s handling of crime. He expressed his dismay at supporting a government where crime is out of control. JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar responded by suggesting that Paswan is approaching the matter incorrectly, implying that raising concerns in the media is less effective than doing so in cabinet meetings. RJD MP Manoj Jha accused Paswan of adopting double standards, and demanded a fact-finding team. Congress leader Sukhdev Bhagat welcomed Paswan’s belated acknowledgement of the state’s law and order problems, stating that the issues have been evident for a long time.
