BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has commented on the Bihar assembly elections, criticizing what he refers to as the ‘jungle raj’ era associated with Lalu Prasad Yadav. He also shared his thoughts on actress Poonam Pandey and targeted Congress leader Sam Pitroda.
Tiwari stated that the people of Bihar are pleased with the NDA government. He underscored that Bihar has undergone a transformation since 2005 when the state experienced ‘jungle raj,’ corruption, and criminal elements. He pointed out the progress made in Bihar after 2005, including new infrastructure such as highways, AIIMS, and airports.
He expressed his belief that the people of Bihar will vote for the NDA, highlighting their political understanding. He mentioned the historical context of electoral processes in the Lichchavi republic. He stated that the people of Bihar would not opt for a government that represents ‘jungle raj.’
Regarding Poonam Pandey and her role in Ramlila, Tiwari suggested that if the Vishwa Hindu Parishad has raised concerns, it warrants consideration. He advised that the Ramlila committee should address the issue, and dialogue might lead to a solution.
Furthermore, Tiwari criticized Congress leader Sam Pitroda, asserting that Pitroda’s statements exposed the true face of the Congress. He implied that Pitroda’s fondness for Pakistan meant he should move there, given Pitroda’s reported feeling that Pakistan feels like home.
