
The Agricultural University, Sabour, has been awarded an ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a landmark achievement for Bihar, as stated by Deputy CM and Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha. This success highlights the state’s advancement in higher education, research, and innovation. The collaborative efforts of faculty, scientists, staff, students, and farmers led to this accomplishment. The NAAC peer team conducted an in-depth evaluation of the university’s academic, administrative, infrastructural, research, and outreach aspects. The university’s achievement of a 3.08 CGPA in a short time showcases its growing national prominence. This grading is in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The curriculum has been redesigned to be multidisciplinary, skill-oriented, and innovation-driven, reflecting the goals of NEP. The university provides credit transfer facilities. The strong feedback system, involving students, alumni, faculty, employers, and stakeholders, is a hallmark of the institution.
