The boat overturned midstream, causing it to lose balance and capsize, plunging all 13 people on board into the Bhonga River. Upon receiving the news of the accident, local residents immediately initiated a rescue and relief operation. The locals swiftly rescued eight individuals. Sadly, one woman has died in the incident. The deceased has been identified as Sanjan Devi, the wife of Motor Mukhiya, a resident of Chakla ward number-2, Chhatapur police station area. The names of the women on the boat were Gauri Devi, Sarita Devi, Avdhi Devi, Mamta Devi, Rima Kumari, Kajal Kumari, Pathri Devi, Anita Devi, Anjali Kumari, Manju Devi, and Sanjan Devi.
