An alarming case has emerged from Alwar, Rajasthan, where a man was murdered in the Bhiwadi area. The police successfully solved the case, leading to the arrest of the victim’s wife, Bobby Rai, and her brother-in-law, Anuj Chaudhary. The pair initially provided a false account, but the reality was more sinister.
Guddu Rai, aged 65, was discovered dead inside a locked room in a house in Santra Colony. The police were alerted by the neighbors after they noticed a bad smell. The police entered the house and found Guddu’s dead body. The landlord and his nephew explained that Guddu Rai and his wife, Bobby, had been renting the property and were frequently arguing. This led the police to start their investigation.
The brother-in-law and sister-in-law admitted to the crime. Guddu, who was from Bhagalpur, Bihar, became a suspect after the police examined CCTV footage and gathered information from informants. The police questioned Bobby Rai, 40, and her brother-in-law, Anuj Chaudhary, and they confessed.
During interrogation, the duo offered a new narrative. They told the police that the deceased had been unwell for several months. The financial burden of medical expenses, rent, and food caused constant fights between the couple. They claimed that this was why they killed Guddu.
However, the investigation revealed that Guddu’s body had injury marks. Anuj Chaudhary, who is Bobby’s aunt’s daughter’s husband, also lived in the same house. It was also discovered that they were in an illicit relationship. Guddu found out about this and confronted Bobby, leading to frequent arguments. Ultimately, Bobby and Anuj plotted to murder Guddu.
