Chirag Paswan has confirmed his candidacy for the Bihar assembly elections, with plans to contest from every seat. Speaking at a gathering in Ara, he highlighted his objective to fortify the NDA alliance and secure its win. He expressed his intention to serve the people of Bihar, allowing them to decide his participation and the constituency from which he should stand. Additionally, Paswan criticized the RJD and Congress for their roles in the past issues. He also addressed Rahul Gandhi’s remarks regarding the Election Commission, perceiving them as an admission of defeat. Paswan also confirmed that his focus is not on securing the Chief Ministerial position.
