Union Minister Chirag Paswan has announced his decision to contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections from all 243 seats. During a public meeting in Ara, he stated his commitment to the NDA alliance and his goal of securing its victory. He expressed his intent to contest ‘for Bihar’ and welcomed public input on his choice of constituency. In his address, Paswan also criticized the RJD and Congress for their role in the ‘jungle raj.’ He further commented on Rahul Gandhi’s statements regarding the Election Commission, suggesting they reflected an acceptance of defeat. Paswan also denied any ambition for the Chief Minister’s position, stating that his party’s parliamentary board would make the final decision on his candidacy.
