
In Darbhanga, Bihar, a man has been sent to jail by court order after being accused of making derogatory remarks about the Prime Minister. The police from Simri arrested Rizvi, also known as Raja, and brought him before the Darbhanga court. The court then sent him directly to jail, with CJM Junaid Aalam assigning 14 days of judicial custody. The main suspect in the case is still at large.

Police sources indicate that the main named suspect, Md. Naushad, has left the district. The offensive remarks were made from the stage during the Voter Rights Yatra.
