
A violent incident in Bihar’s Saran district resulted in eight people being injured after a man launched a knife attack. The victims included men, women, and two young children. Following the attack, the assailant was attacked by a crowd and later died from his injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital. The incident occurred in Dee Chhapra village, under the Tariya police station. Local police arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the nearest hospital. Some of the injured, including children, were later transferred to the PMCH for advanced medical care. The SSP of Saran, Kumar Ashish, visited the location and the hospital to evaluate the situation and offer assistance. Initial reports suggest the attacker, identified as Bittu Tiwari from the Mashrakh area, had a dispute with a woman before initiating the attacks. The injured include a five-year-old boy, a six-year-old boy, and several adults.
