
After an early monsoon arrival, many states saw heavy rainfall, but this has now stopped. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts normal weather for now. Delhi-NCR and other regions are facing severe heat. Delhi sees heat after rain, with no rain expected soon. Today’s high is 40°C, low 26°C, and above 40°C from June 14th. Uttar Pradesh suffers extreme heat; strong sun causes it. No rain is expected until June 11th. Heatwaves may hit Bundelkhand, Vindhya, and nearby areas from June 9-11. Rain could begin in eastern UP from June 11th.
Bihar will have dry weather in most districts today. Patna’s high is 37°C, low 27°C. Rain returns June 10th; humid heat until then. Temperatures may rise 4°. Ranchi and other Jharkhand areas might get evening showers.
Heatwaves are coming: Western Rajasthan (June 8-11), Punjab, Haryana (June 9-11), and northern Madhya Pradesh (June 9-10). South India and northeast states will have heavy rain from June 10th. Northeast India could see light to moderate rain for 7 days.
Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will be hot. The hills of Uttarakhand have strong sunshine. The weather will change fast in the mountains. Himachal Pradesh may get rain on June 12-13.
