The month of May saw favorable weather conditions due to rainfall across several parts of India. However, Delhi and other regions are now experiencing a heatwave. Delhi’s temperature reached 45 degrees Celsius on Monday, making it a very hot day. The clear skies and strong sunlight have contributed to the heatwave conditions in the NCR region. The forecast indicates that this intense heat will continue, with the maximum temperature expected to be 44 degrees Celsius and the minimum 29 degrees Celsius. The weather department has predicted relief from June 13th with possible rain. Uttar Pradesh is also facing a heatwave, with the weather department issuing an orange alert for several districts. The state is expected to receive rainfall starting tomorrow, with an alert for rain and thunderstorms in 60 percent of the districts on June 12th. Bihar is expected to experience a change in weather, with heavy rainfall starting tomorrow due to the monsoon. Jharkhand will also see a change in weather conditions, with strong winds and rain expected in several districts from today until June 14th. Rajasthan is witnessing a return to heat, with Sri Ganganagar recording a high of 47.3 degrees Celsius. The weather department anticipates dry conditions and heatwave conditions across most parts of western Rajasthan for the next week.
