In anticipation of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar has stated that if the Grand Alliance achieves a majority, the Chief Minister will be from the RJD, with Tejashwi Yadav as the designated CM candidate. Kumar emphasized that there is no ambiguity on this point. He accused the ruling party of attempting to deflect attention from the main election issues by focusing on the CM face. Kumar also alleged the BJP’s plan to oust Nitish Kumar and replace him with a BJP leader, claiming the party follows a pattern of initially backing regional parties before eventually absorbing them. Kumar clarified that the party with the most MLAs in the Grand Alliance would be the one to produce the Chief Minister, and since the RJD is the largest party, the CM would come from their ranks. He compared the Grand Alliance to a car, stressing the importance of each party’s role. Kumar also accused Amit Shah of exploiting crises for political advantage and stated that the current state government is being run in a dictatorial manner by bureaucrats.
