The woman, Deepti, shared her harrowing experience with the police, explaining how her in-laws’ demands escalated after her marriage in 2021. Initially, they sought money and jewelry, but when she was unable to provide them, they pressured her to donate a kidney to her husband. Deepti has sought refuge with her parents and filed a complaint, leading to a police investigation. Despite police efforts to mediate, the matter remains unresolved. A case has been registered against the husband and three other members of the family.
