The Ambedkar Kalyan Hostel is facing a severe crisis due to the lack of proper infrastructure. Students are struggling to access their rooms. The hostel is surrounded by stagnant water, making it difficult to move around. The students constructed their own bridge using whatever materials they could find to be able to reach their rooms. This makeshift bridge is made from doors, windows, and other materials. The students have been complaining to the university authorities, but their pleas have fallen on deaf ears. The hostel is situated near the Bhairwa pond. The pond is being renovated as part of a smart city project, but the drainage system has not been completed. As a result, water has accumulated around the hostel, creating a breeding ground for dangerous diseases.
