
The Union government has sanctioned the Muzaffarpur Airport project, marking a significant infrastructure boost for Bihar, following a similar initiative in Purnia. The approval for the Patahi Airport’s tender and construction has been confirmed by the central government, generating excitement throughout the Tirhut division.
Former minister and BJP leader Suresh Sharma, along with his supporters, celebrated the announcement near the airport premises. They distributed sweets to the local populace and party members to commemorate the occasion. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also shared the news via social media, highlighting that the airport will feature pre-fabricated steel structures, and stating the project’s potential to boost development and connectivity in North Bihar. He acknowledged the efforts of PM Narendra Modi and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar in his post.
This initiative offers an additional air travel option for the people of the Tirhut region in Bihar. The central government’s approval has triggered a wave of optimism across North Bihar.
