Police are investigating the death of a doctor in Muzaffarpur who shot himself using his father’s gun. The incident occurred in the Kazi Mohammadpur police station area. Preliminary reports suggest the doctor was under stress after failing his PG exam. The father of the deceased, who owns petrol pumps, was away at the time of the incident. The doctor, who had recently been employed at a private hospital, was found dead in his study room on the third floor of his home. No suicide note was found, but the police seized his mobile phone and tablet. The doctor was the only brother of two sisters. The police confirmed that the doctor had completed his MBBS and had been working at a hospital before the tragic event.
